Leadership Fellows
The final program our scholars participate in is our Leadership Fellows program as 9th to 12th graders. This program is a comprehensive college and career readiness program and includes entrepreneurship, arts and health related education. Topics like financial literacy, ACT prep, college exploration, community and civic service are tools added to scholars' toolbox as they plan and begin to transition into the next phase of their lives.
Program Highlights include;
Our Annual HBCU Trip
Summer Camping Trips
SAT Preparation
College & Career Preparation

“Future Urban Leaders is about more than just academics. Programs like the summer camping trips allow us to get away from the city, and just be. They have been such a needed and enjoyable getaway for me and the other scholars, especially in recent years with all of the violence and negative news in the world.”
The Power of Connection: Pursuing a Passion for Art
Our Fellows program focuses on financial literacy, ACT prep, college exploration, career readiness, and community and civic service. For Erin, FUL helped connect them to resources and opportunities that set them on a path to be a student at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in Fall of 2022.
2023 FUL HBCU Experience
On March 31, Future Urban Leaders embarked on its 2nd Annual HBCU Tour with nineteen of our FUL Fellows, three staff members (our Executive Director, Co-Founder, and Program Director) and a Parent Advisory Board (PAB) member.
COLLEGE PREP
Our high school scholars are our Leadership Fellows. In our high school programming we focus on comprehensive college and career readiness including; ACT prep, college exploration, and entrepreneurship.
